Jigsaw to host mysterious Adobe Event next Thursday
Apple and Adobe dealer, Jigsaw, has announced that it will be hosting a free Adobe Event on Thursday 26 April at which Adobe will: “give us a free UK exclusive so secretive we dare not speak its name in public.”
You can register for the event, which will be held at the Renoir Cinema at the Brunswick Centre in Russell Square, London, here. There will be two streams: A morning of print & web design from 10:00 – 12:00 (Registration at 09:30), and An afternoon of video work 14:00 – 16:00 (Registration at 13:30). (More below).
Adobe has announced that it will reveal the latest innovations in Creative Suite 6 (CS6) on Monday 23 April, as well divulging more details on its Creative Cloud software-and-services subscription programme.
Following the release of a beta version of Photoshop CS6 last month, and launches of After Effects CS6 and Premiere Pro CS6 at the NAB tradeshow earlier this week, sneak peeks of gradients on strokes and pattern design tools in Illustrator CS6, Adobe will fill in the details of the rest of the suite on Monday 23 April – including InDesign CS6, Flash Pro CS6, Dreamweaver CS6, and Fireworks CS6.
To coincide with the launch, Macworld will be publishing extensive previews of CS6’s application by experts in interactive and graphic design, editing and VFX – including step-by-step guides to the new tools. Expect to discover whether these are the must-have upgrades you’re hoping for, or ones you can wait until its time to upgrade your computer for.
